Ratepayer Rebellion: Why NextEra Can't Be Trusted

Express your opposition to rising electric bills and the NextEra merger fueling the data center industry at our expense.

WHEN: Thursday, Sept 10th, 8 AM to 8:30 AM (just 30 minutes; stop by your way work)

WHERE: Sidewalk outside the SCC, 1300 E. Main St., Richmond

Please let us know if you plan to come by RSVPing HERE

WHAT: Join us outside the VA State Corporation Commission to protest our Dominion electric bills and to STOP the Merger with Next ERA that will:

  • raise our electric bills while fattening corporate profits

  • pollute our air with new fracked gas plants to power data centers, and

  • corrupt our politics with millions more spent on campaign contributions and lobbying

This week we'll focus on why NextEra can't be trusted.  Bring a copy of your electric bill for a ceremonial shredding of our ever rising bills. Express your feelings about rising electric bills, new gas plants and the merger with your homemade signs.
